TESTIMONIALS
My name is Takaya Poole, and I am so pleased to have been introduced to Kandra. Kandra is the awesome lady who not only published my journal, but did and awesome job of making sure I received everything I not only wanted but needed as well.
When I was to either text or call her, she made herself available to me, and responded promptly. She made sure she answered all the questions I had, and broke anything down to me that I didn’t understand.
She walked me through each and every step and made sure my journal was published in time. Thank you Kandra. I appreciate all you have done for me, and can’t wait to allow you to publish my next journal.

Thank you,

For years, I had said I would write a book one day when I retired and had the time, but I never really knew for sure if I would follow through. Not long after I retired and moved to Gainesville, I noticed a listing for a memoir-writing class in the Sante Fe College course catalog. I enrolled immediately.

The day of the class I arrived early and took a seat in the classroom to wait for the instructor. When a young woman entered the room and confidently walked to the front of the class, I knew immediately that this woman would be able to help me achieve my long-standing dream of writing my life story. Something about the way she walked into the room and immediately took charge of the classroom told me she knew her stuff. As the three-hour class progressed, I became increasingly sure of myself and that I would be able to do this with the help of this woman, Kandra Albury. I returned home and immediately started writing!

Not long afterward, we scheduled our first one-on-one meeting during which I told her the basics of my life story. She listened intently to me and then told me she thought I had a "best-seller!" From that point forward, she could not have been more encouraging. She motivated me every step of the way. During the months that followed, I looked forward to our meetings because I knew she would be straightforward with me about my work, but also that she would encourage me to do my best work.

About a year ago, I finished my book. It has been one of the greatest accomplishments of my life, and I don't think I would have completed it had I not met this amazing woman. Not only did she encourage me; she also advised me concerning hiring an editor, a designer for my book cover, and most importantly, how to get my book published. Because of Kandra, I am now a published author, and I could not be more grateful.

If you are contemplating writing your life story, I recommend without reservation Kandra Albury. She is knowledgeable, has all of the right connections and will walk with you every step of the way! Good Luck!!

"After weeks of frustration working with another interior designer for my first children's book, I hired James Albury. He immediately caught the problem that the previous designer couldn't catch for 2 weeks. Working with him was a great experience. I was able to meet my deadline. I'm looking forward to working with him again for the next book in my series."

When I first decided that I wanted to write a book, like many people, I had no idea where to go for help. When I found Kandra Albury, she was a true godsend. They only thing I came to Kandra with was an idea. Well...really, it was my dream. I didn't actually have a lot of confidence that I had what it took to become an author. There I was, a 40-year-old single mom with very little time and no knowledge of how any of it worked. All I knew at that point was that I had a vision of doing something great with my life. I walked away from my first meeting with Kandra feeling like my dream was actually possible. Over the next few weeks, she held my hand through the process. I could see my ideas taking shape and coming to life. It was amazing! Kandra's knowledge about writing and publishing made it so easy for me. Within months of working with her, I was able to get my book published and sold on mega-sites like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. I've had the privilege to perform multiple read-a-louds and have been asked to participate in many community events. I'm happy to report that The requests keep coming.
When I speak about myself now, I confidently and proudly say that I'm an author. This has truly changed my life. If I can do it, seriously, anyone can. I'm so grateful to Kandra for helping me bring my dream to fruition. I don't think I could have done this with her. The next chapters of my life will be written by a real author. I can't wait to see what unfolds.
